2023 Raison d’être 2 (Milano)

A depressing setting for the exhibition of a great artist, whose name draws the crowds, even if only 6 the works are his, while the remaining are contemporaries’ nondescripts. Stealthily introducing an incongruous element to enliven a drunken spit-up colored carpet might seem an impossible feat.

Instead, surprisingly, the artistic act takes place completely undisturbed, without either the visitors or the catatonic guardians finding it incongruous and afterwards wasn’t removed.

This is a remake of 2020-2019 Raison d’être.

2023 Raison d’être 2 (Milano)

Un allestimento deprimente per la mostra di un grande artista, il cui nome richiama le folle, anche se sono sue solo 6 opere, mentre le altre sono di gregari suoi contemporanei.
Introdurre clandestinamente un elemento incongruo che ravvivi una moquette colore trasüdeciùc sembrerebbe un’impresa impossibile.

Invece l’intervento avviene del tutto indisturbato, senza che né i visitatori, né i catatonici custodi lo trovino incongruo e anche successivamente nessuno l’ha rimosso.
