Impact of an explosive projectile on an armored tower.
Steel, furiously battered, turns out to be poetic and transforms the kinetic energy of the impact into an unexpected inflorescence, which ripples the industrial precision of the armor.

In this permanent installation, made at the Museum of Military History of Vienna (Heeresgeschichtliches Museum), the sensual, visual and tactile experience of a material pushed to the limit is doubled in a permanent educational opportunity.
The irreversible deformation of matter refers to the permanent impact, with often unpredictable consequences, that violence causes on the psyche of man.

2012 Fiori d’acciaio

Impatto di un proiettile esplosivo su una torretta blindata.
L’acciaio furiosamente martoriato si scopre poetico e trasforma l’energia cinetica dell’impatto in un’inaspettata infiorescenza, che increspa la precisione industriale della blindatura.
In questa installazione permanente, realizzata presso il Museo di Storia Militare diVienna (Heeresgeschichtliches Museum), l’esperienza sensuale, visiva e tattile, di un materiale spinto al limite si sdoppia in un’occasione didattica permanente. La deformazione irreversibile della materia rimanda all’impatto permanente, con conseguenze spesso imprevedibili, che la violenza provoca sulla psiche dell’uomo.
