2021 Hues of Pink, White and Blue (Milan)

In the darkest and coldest hours of winter and the pandemics, I was strolling in the early evening, trying to keep fit and to escape the depressing daily spiral of sleep – work – Netflix – sleep.

I know, empty advertising boards are becoming an obsession of mine: here is the result of coating a huge back illuminated one with patches of colored films.

It turns on only a few minutes every evening, to avoid annoying the square residents and not to contribute to light pollution.

2021 Sfumature di rosa, bianco e blu (Milano)

Nelle ore più oscure e gelide dell’inverno e della pandemia, mi sgranchivo le gambe prima di cena, cercando di mantenermi in forma e di sfuggire alla deprimente quotidiana spirale di sonno-lavoro-Netflix–sonno.

Lo so, il vuoto dei cartelloni pubblicitari sta diventando una mia ossessione, ma ecco quello che ho ottenuto rivestendo con poche pellicole colorate un enorme tabellone retroilluminato.

Tutte le sere si accende solo per pochi minuti, per non disturbare i residenti con finestre sulla piazza e per evitare di contribuire all’inquinamento luminoso.
